Concert by Candlelight Easter’s Day DUO – KOKI SUETSUGU | HARUKA MATSUMOTO

We invite you to the Valentine’s Concert by Candlelight performed by an exceptional duo.

Haruka Matsumoto and Koki Suetsugu form a duo both on stage and in private life.

Both are from Japan, but fascinated by Fryderyk Chopin’s music they decided to spend part of their lives in Poland. They divide their time between Poland and Japan.

In the beautiful interior of the Fryderyk Concert Hall, lit only by candlelight, we will listen to Fryderyk Chopin’s performed by extraordinary artists – outstanding musicians of our time.

In addition to Fryderyk Chopin’s compositions, the concert program will also include works by other composers, those who inspired Fryderyk Chopin (including Jan Sebastian Bach, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Ludwig van Beethoven), composers from the circle of European romantic music (including Ferenc Liszt, Joseph Elsner, Stanisław Moniuszko), as well as later artists.

The concerts are two-part recitals lasting approximately 60 minutes, based on the idea of salon musical meetings popular in the 19th century.

During the concert break, we will offer you a glass of sparkling wine.

Pianist

Koki Suetsugu is a young pianist from Japan. Born June 11, 1998. He began musical education and learn the piano in age of 14. He graduated from a music high school in Saitama, Japan and then graduated from the Frédéric Chopin university of Music under Prof. Jerzy Sterczynski.

Haruka Matsumoto – pianist, was born and raised in Osaka, Japan.

She began musical education and learn the piano in age of four.
